Born in Virginia, George grew up there before enlisting in the United States Army at the age of nineteen. He served 28 years in numerous states and countries before coming back to Southside Virginia to retire. His passion for photography kept him in the area, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and intriguing people. Having taken photography courses, George was taught traditional methods, which are important, but George's photography is more outside the box.
George has always chosen to remain an independent photographer as he loves creating vibrant imagery for a shoot. But he also likes spending time with family and friends, creating a memorable portrait. He has no specific preference and feels every shoot is a unique challenge, with unique possibilities.
